Weekend Review

This past weekend was actually a ton of fun.  I secretly love this time of year because there is virtually nothing on our social calendar.  It's a perfect break from the craziness of the holidays and you have the option of doing nothing at all or filling your time with something out of the ordinary.  We did a little of both.

Friday night we met our friends Tiff&Seth for dinner at my favorite restaurant downtown SunSpot. Dinner as awesome per usual and then we headed over to check out an IceBears game.  If you have never been to a Knoxville IceBears game you should probably go ahead and buy your tickets.  It's awesome and hilarious all at the same time.  We had some good laughs, watched a few fights and the IceBears came out with a win (I think haha).  I was definitely having more fun catching up with Tiff then watching the game not going to lie.

Saturday we slept in for no reason at all, made a delicious brunch at the house and were excessively lazy.  That afternoon we finally ventured out for a quick walk at the park with the boys before getting ready for formal.  Yes you read that correctly.  Saturday night after another yummy dinner at Pero's we went to the take pictures of our Winter formal.  It was so cute and Cole was dying to go break it down in front of the dance floor.

Sunday after church we headed to lunch at Zoe's (my other favorite restaurant).  Then that night we had mexican night complete with this mexican casserole WHICH IS AWESOME, guac, chips and mexican beers.

Then we snuggled in to watch the Golden Globes and Revenge.  Perfect Sunday??  i think so.  Life without kids isn't too bad after all?  We will survive. :)
