We're back! We had an AWESOME week discovering all that Chicago has to offer. I am going to break this into a few post so here we go!
Part 1:
We flew in Tuesday night and enjoyed an amazing Italian dinner right off of Michigan Ave. Great way to start the trip! The next day was our anniversary so we started the day with a little shopping :) I was very happy.

After I had pretty much exhausted Cole we jumped in a cab and headed to Wrigley Field for our first Cubs game! We just happened to stumble across a little gem called Murphy's Bleachers a historic sports bar across from Wrigley. They also happened to have fabulous burgers and brats, exactly what we were needing (Cole was a happy camper). After lunch we headed into the game. The stadium was packed and despite a loss for the Cubs it was a gorgeous and fun filled afternoon!

That evening we heading in the Gold Coast area for a delicious dinner at LuxBar and a few stops around Rush Street. We had a fabulous anniversary and loved celebrating it in Chicago!

The few days we headed to the beach (one of the coolest parts of the trip!), shopped, ate more great food, checked out the John Hancock Observatory, shopped, ran to Navy Pier, saw the riverfront, more shopping, the Bean, and ended our trip with a FABULOUS steak dinner. Stay tuned!
