Fun Fest: Memorial Weekend Style!

Wow! What a fabulous weekend!  The long Memorial Day weekend was jammed packed with fun events!  Let's recap:

Friday night Cole & I went over to his sisters house for a cookout.  We had a great time catching up!  We also got to celebrate his step sister's birthday which was a blast!  Saturday we had a productive day running errands and getting ready for our house guests (T&S- love you guys).  Saturday night we headed over to my Mom's house for Daane's going away dinner.  We had so much fun and we are all sad to see Daane leave but we know he is working hard and we couldn't be more proud.  I talked about Daane's new adventure here.

Sunday was our lake day!!  So.much.fun. We got on the water around noon.....it was a perfect day, not a cloud in the sky!  Highlight of the day....one of my BFF's was in town from ATL so she and her boyfriend came out with us!  It was SO SO good to hang out with them!

That night we went out to eat at a new Rocky Hill favorite....Pero's.  We enjoyed some delicious italian food and had a great time catching up even more!  After dinner, we of course had to swing by the new Tin Roof to show Tiff & Seth our neighborhood hot spot.

The next day...Memorial Day.... we were off the the mountains to go tubing.  Memorial Day tubing has been a tradition for three years now.  We get a big crew rent intertubes and float down the rapids (sometimes barely there rapids) in the Smokey Mountains.  Not exactly my idea of a good time but it's like Cole's favorite day of the summer.  Check him out here:

Water+outdoors+cliff jumping= Cole's paradise.  We had a good crew though and a few of us girls were sporting our American flag bikinis....when in Rome right?

All in all a fun filled weekend!  Happy to be back at work today and looking forward to a productive week!  Happy Tuesday friends!
