Dinner with Friends & Knoxville Fashion Week!

SO Tuesday night Colston and I were invited for dinner at our friends Dusty&Ash's house.  They also invited our good friends AJ&E so together we had a great crew!  Dusty&Ash live approximately 5 min from our house like thankfully 99% of all of our friends do.  Rocky Hill is the place to be!  Anyway, Ash is a phenomenal cook!  Her family just so happens to own a Knoxville steak house. . .the one and only Ye Olde Steakhouse.  For my non-southern friends yes that is literally it's name and yes it is some of the best food in the city.  So with that being said Ash knows her way around the kitchen.  She treated us to marinated flank steak, golden garlic mashed potatoes, a vegetable medley AND a two tiered yellow cake with coral frosting made from scratch.  For real.  I saw her make the frosting and it was insane.  Coming from a non-baker I was BEYOND impressed.  So dinner was delish and we spent the rest of the evening catching up and playing with Dusty&Ash's two adorable dogs. A pretty fabulous evening if you ask me!

On another note I just started receiving emails about Knoxville Fashion week! Our very own fashion week takes place this year on the last weekend of February and features all sorts of fashion related events.  The week focuses on local talent and features multiple fashion shows and events all over Knoxville.  Sounds like a blast!!!!

Last night while catching up on my E! News I saw confirmation that the rumor mill is brewing on Emily Maynard being the next bachelorette!!!!  My friends this is looking VERY promising!!!  According to People magazine ABC has even agreed to tape parts of the show in Emily's hometown Charlotte so she can be close to her daughter! 

ABC may make a very serious come back in my book if this does happen.  This current season is exhausting.  Ben is tough bachelor and the only reason the season has kept my interest this long is the fabulous Kacie B. from Knoxville! 

Anyway, today is finally Thursday and we have a fantastic girls night planned tonight.  Complete with dinner and Grey's Anatomy.  Doesn't get much better than that!
